A reworking of the final track on the Borrowed Books album, ‘Shorting Out & Longing’, sees Cam restoring his discarded guitar part. “When Borrowed Books recorded this track my guitar part was dropped to make space for some beautiful piano playing by Colin Sands. A couple of years on, I still really liked the guitar part so this session gave me the perfect excuse to resurrect it. However, on this version, the stellar playing from both Amy and Iain has, once again, rightly shifted my beloved guitar part to the sidelines – but at least this time it’s still there.”
